Marketing Opportunities
Marketing on campus to students through The Student Centre allows businesses to reach students in a number of ways such as being a Frosh Week or student handbook sponsor, placement of signage within the building, full motion or static ads on our TV display system, co-sponsoring nightly events or one of a number of other ideas. Our goal is to provide students with information about student friendly businesses and services available to them and ensure that our sponsors are able to market their corporate image in a positive manner. Exclusivity deals are available to a select number of companies and are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Other marketing opportunities are reviewed as they are received. Nipissing University and Canadore College collectively enrol approximately 6000 full-time students and an additional 2000 part-time. The Student Centre is the main access point to both the College and the University where all buses arrive and leave creating a flow of up to 10,000 walkthroughs or visits a day. The Student Centre has different policies to help end users of specific areas understand all that is required of them, and/or how we conduct business towards these specific areas. The policies listed below are just some of the policies the Student Centre adheres to in achieving outcomes that have been mandated by both CSRC and NUSU. The balancing of the two schools differences and similarities are taking into consideration, any/all Campus or greater community based concerns,/policies are also considered, and most important, to keep all policies balanced and fair in their approach, all the while considering that the Student Centre is a business. The policies listed below are current however; they may be amended from time to time, so if you have any questions regarding these policies or to find out if they have been amended please contact: Todd Fearnley
